Would you want to work in an amazon.com warehouse?

They would make uncomfortable.
Amazon filed for a patent for the Black Mirror-esque wristbands back in 2016.
Wearables for Workers
Amazon’s tracking wristbands are supposedly meant for factory and warehouse employees, and the idea is to maximize a human worker’s time and effort, as well as to keep inventories in flawless order.
The e-retailer is hardly the first company to want to make use of wearables to improve worker efficiency. Several others have pursued similar initiatives, albeit without the dystopian sci-fi feel.

Yikes! No!
It's getting pretty bad when your employer wants to know exactly what your hands are doing at all times.
We're not robots. They should stop trying to make us one.
The "production systems" that were dreamed up back around the turn of the century (Scientific Management) and were adopted by Toyota, and later, many other manufacturers, treats workers as if they were machines too. People are different. They can't all do the same job in exactly the same way.
I don't understand why the one size doesn't fit all concept is so hard for some people to wrap their heads around.
I can all but guarantee that Amazon will be dictating exactly how a worker does any given job, and they'll apply that formula to all.
One size doesn't fit all should be a no-brainer. Apparently not, for some.

You're good with people.
I agree. This will not be good for Amazon workers.

What I know is how to get people to like me and trust me to solve their problem. I was a problem solver. When I worked in provider relations. I trained staff and supervised later on. I did the same in customer service and public relations.
Most people prefer dealing with people. I doubt this will change.
Treating people the way amazon.com is in a good economy means some of their best people will leave.
Being spied on creates unnecessary stress. A good supervior can motivate staff.
