Have you heard about this Gel like fluid?

A preventive treatment developed by Stanford researchers could greatly reduce the incidence and severity of wildfires. The approach, outlined Sept. 30 in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, involves an environmentally benign gel-like fluid that helps common wildland fire retardants last longer on vegetation

No, I hadn't. Hmmmm.... I can't help but think of all the things they've told us were safe in the past that turned out not to be.
If they're right, this gel treatment will be great. But if they're wrong, it could cause significant harm.
I hope they're right.
It would save a lot of lives and property. Not to mention money.
I didn't read the report, but I just saw a headline that said some goofballs started a wildfire when they tried to burn up a bee's nest.
I wish people would think before they do this crazy stuff.
Which also reminds me of this coworker. He tried to get rid of a pine tree by burning it. He ended up blistering the paint on both his car and house, and had to call the fire department.
