Have you heard about the planet with planet With a 27,000 Year Orbit?

Every planet in the Solar System has its own peculiar orbit, and these vary considerably. Whereas planet Earth takes 365.25 days to complete a single orbit about our Sun, Mars takes almost twice as long – 686.971 days. Then you have Jupiter and the other gas giants, which take between 11.86 and 164.8 years to orbit our Sun. But even with these serving as examples, astronomers were not prepared for what they found when they looked at CVSO 30.

No, and that's pretty weird.
As I recall, Pluto takes about 120 years to orbit our Sun.
In our system, you can approximately calculate a planets orbit time using it's distance from the Sun.
As I recall, the equation is the square root of it's astronomical units cubed.
An astronomical unit is the distance the earth is from the Sun. So if a planet is twice as far from the Sun as Earth, that would be two astronomical units. You cube that number and find the square root.
It probably doesn't apply to exoplanets very well.

Since everyone has calculators these days, most don't know or remember formulas.

We had a tiny bit of Spanish in grade school.
It was broadcast on PBS so we were taught by a TV guy.
Ha! I still remember his name.... Don Miguel.
We all got to choose Spanish names. Mine was Diego.
That was inspired by the Zorro TV series.

I will Goggle it. I remember old conversations and things I learned in college. LOL Math I do not use leaves my head quickly.
It is odd how fraises en Espanol pop into my head. Despite that I was never fluent and forgot more than I remember. We go to a restaurant were many speak English, Italian and Spanish. They are staff and they are friendly. They all work hard.

I used to, but I've forgotten how to do it.
At one of my jobs we had to convert metrics to inches because the spec sheets were all in metrics, but we used standard rulers while building the product. That was over 15 years ago, though.

Since you remember formula's I use know one to convert inches, feet to millimeters and centimeters. Do you know that one?
