While moscovium is a real thing, I wouldn't take what Lazar had to say too seriously.
Like I mentioned, I found some serious discrepancies in his claims as related in interviews.
Here's something else on Lazar: "Lazar's story has since been analyzed and rejected by skeptics and some ufologists. Universities from which he claims to hold degrees show no record of him, and supposed former workplaces have disavowed him. In 1990, he was convicted for his involvement in a prostitution ring and again in 2006 for selling illegal chemicals. "
So, he's a pretty shady character, to say the least.
Still, who knows what will develop regarding these heavy elements.
For Lazar to predict element 115 isn't all that surprising. All he had to do was pick a number a little higher than what's already on the periodic table. He could have just as easily picked 113. That was also created in a lab.
He managed to make money selling books and doing speaking engagements.
I haven't heard anything about him recently.
