Privacy laws and security tech aren't keeping up with the times, so absolutely not.
Another 500 million people just got their data hacked from hotels.
That's becoming a weekly occurrence, yet they keep forcing technology that makes people more vulnerable to be victims of crime on us.
That's outrageously irresponsible.
They convince people that they'll share in the savings, but that never happens. They, the companies, reap all but a very small % of the savings.
Insurance companies are notorious for that little profitable ploy.
They tell people that so-and-sos' behavior is driving up their insurance premiums so they can get the behavior outlawed or discouraged via taxation, but insurance rates never reflect the change they promised. They just keep going up.
Lawmakers aren't protecting us from predatory corporations, and we all know why.
